Terms and Conditions

  1. When you send a message to TextMyBus, we will respond with text messages to provide the information you requested. Once you recieve that information, we will not send you additional messages unless you request additional information.

  2. If you want to stop recieving texts from TextMyBus, reply to any message with STOP. To continue using the service after sending STOP, just send a new text to 50464.
  3. If you need help using the service, just text HELP to 50464. We will reply with basic instructions on how to use TextMyBus.
  4. We are able to deliver messages to most major carriers. We are not able to support all carriers at this time.
  5. As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You will usually receive 1-3 messages with each use of TextMyBus. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, please contact your wireless provider.

Information collection and use

When you send a text message to TextMyBus, we recieve your phone number. We use your phone number to provide you with the bus data you requested. We do not store your phone number or share it with anyone.

We use internal logging tools and KISSMetrics to record information ("Log Data") created by your use of TextMyBus. Log Data may include the bus stop and route requested, time and date of the request, and other search terms. This information is not associated with your identity and is used only to understand overall usage patterns and improve the TextMyBus service. It is never sold or provided to third parties.
